Steven Hausman – Executive Chairman, CAEF
One of Triumph Business Capital’s founders, Steve’s background includes corporate finance positions at major truck manufacturers, leasing companies and commercial finance institutions. Originally from New York, Steve received a B.A. and M.B.A from the University of Michigan, and is an IFA Certified Account Executive in Factoring (CAEF). Steve currently serves as Pitmaster of the Triumph BBQ Team and on the Advisory Board of Prison Entrepreneurship Program.
Geoff Brenner – Chief Executive Officer
In 2019, Geoff was named CEO of Triumph Business Capital after 20+ years in the healthcare industry, where he built a portfolio of healthcare services companies spanning revenue cycle, supply chain, insurance and performance improvement consulting, and led the enterprise to best-in-class financial performance amid significant industry disruption.
Geoff holds a psychology degree from Florida State University and a MBA from Southern Methodist University, and has served on more than 10 domestic and international boards. He holds multiple insurance and financial securities licenses and has completed several unorthodox leadership programs, such as the SOTG U.S. Navy SEALs Leadership Under Fire Executive Leadership Program in Coronado. Geoff is passionate about servant leadership and for the past 10 years has made annual trips to San Jose, Costa Rica to build homes for impoverished Nicaraguan refugees.
George A. Thorson – President & Chief Operating Officer, CAEF
George has more than 36 years of experience in commercial finance including factoring, asset based lending, business evaluations, loan work out and field auditing. Prior to joining Triumph Business Capital, George was a principal in Collateral Risk Management, Inc. and Credit Support International. George continues to serve as an industry expert and peer educator for the International Factoring Association and the National Association of Credit Managers. George received a B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud State University, and is an IFA Certified Account Executive in Factoring (CAEF).
John Shields – SVP, Chief Technology Officer
John has more than two decades of experience in leadership and multiple areas of technology including enterprise architecture and agile methodologies.
John joined Triumph in late 2017 after several years as an IT consultant in various industries including healthcare, travel, telecom, distribution and finance. As CTO, John is responsible for Triumph’s overall IT vision, which increasingly includes emerging technologies and leveraging decision science such as machine learning, big data and neural networks.
Prior to Triumph, John worked as Principal Architect at Credera, a full-service management and IT consulting firm and also spent nearly a decade working for American Airlines as an Application Architect.
A veteran of the Navy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson
Kimberly Winters – Chief Credit Officer, CAEF
Kimberly has more than 15 years of leadership in the commercial finance industry. She oversees all underwriting and collection activities, including credit analysis of new business opportunities, portfolio risk analysis, client compliance and legal administration.
She joined Triumph in 2012 after working for Metro Financial and Greystone Commercial Services.
Kimberly is a Certified Account Executive in Factoring (CAEF) and winner of the Commercial Finance Association’s (CFA) 40 Under 40 Award.
Erik T. Bahr – EVP, Sales
Erik joins Triumph after serving as Texas regional president of Compass Real Estate, an agent-centric real estate technology company. Prior to Compass, he spent a decade respectively at Yahoo (broadcast.com) and Facebook, leading and growing business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales organizations for each.
He serves on the board of directors for Pursuant and Will Reed. He also remains active at his alma mater, Texas Christian University and with the TCU Lettermen’s Association as a multi-year letterman in football.
Blaine Waugh – SVP, Business Development
Blaine brings over 20 years of factoring experience to the Triumph Business Capital. He started his career with Riviera Finance, ultimately leading the sales team, managing personnel across the US and Canada.
In addition to leading Triumph’s sales team, he’s assumed a pivotal role in numerous strategic partnerships. Blaine graduated from Southern Methodist University earning B.A. degrees in History and Political Science.
As a native of Cuernavaca, Mexico, Blaine is fluent in Spanish. He has been featured in several national industry publications, including USA Today, Overdrive Online and the American Trucking Association.
Ray Workman – SVP, Leader Strategic Initiatives
For more than a decade, Ray has applied an innovative and adaptive approach to creating comprehensive business strategies, while aligning business goals with technology solutions.
Since joining Triumph in 2013, Ray has successfully led and launched several products and platforms to improve client experience and efficiency, including the fuel advance and fuel card programs, development of the client onboarding process, the MyTriumph.com client portal, the Cash4Truckers mobile application as well as TriumphPay, a carrier payment application.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Entrepreneurial Studies from California State University Fresno and is highly-involved in volunteerism, serving as a business mentor for the Prison Entrepreneurship Program and making repeat trips to El Salvador with Living Water International to drill wells for local residents in need.
Janice Fox, SVP Human Resources, SHRM-CP, PHR
Janice has held leadership roles in human resources for more than 20 years, overseeing all aspects of human resources from compensation to benefits and training.
She is a Certified Mediator with the Oklahoma Supreme Court, member of SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management); a Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP); holds a Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Nazarene University.
Janice also serves on the board of Among Friends, a non-profit organization for adults with disabilities.
Michael Lingman – SVP, Fuel Programs
With close to two decades of experience in the fuel card industry, Michael joined Triumph Business Capital in 2019. Michael brings senior leadership experience from his time at WEX and Fleetcor as well as starting his own fuel card company in 2017, Patriot Fleet Solutions.
As SVP of the fuel program, he is responsible for building the infrastructure of Triumph fuel program as well as leveraging the existing fuel program. He is an active member of NAFA, the North American Fleet Administrator organization.
Michael graduated from Temple University with a B.B.A in International Business and an M.Ed. from Arcadia University.
Moises Bolanos – SVP, Client Experience
A proven client experience leader from multiple industries, including transportation factoring, Moises joined Triumph Business Capital in 2020 after holding a similar role at eCapital.
As SVP of Client Experience, he leads Triumph’s Client Experience team, which focuses on employee engagement and training, customer service and retention goals and incorporating technology and a data-driven approach to track and meet established benchmarks.
Moises started his career in sales and sales training and has since held several leadership roles in a diverse set of companies in the B2B and B2C space. He has helped multiple teams develop innovative technology solutions, improved employee training programs and optimized business processes that increase client and employee satisfaction.
He earned his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Cal Lutheran University.
Mark Day – SVP, Accounting & Treasury
With two decades of corporate leadership and financial services experience, Mark joined Triumph Business Capital in 2019, after serving in a similar capacity for eight years at TBK Bank, SSB, a Triumph Bancorp member company.
He currently holds a position on the inaugural Fiserv Financial and Risk Client Advisory Board. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
Jason Mullican – VP, Channel Marketing
With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Jason manages the Channel Marketing team and cultivates new business opportunities by developing strategic business industry relationships.
Before joining Triumph, Jason was Vice President of Business Development for COMDATA, a payment processor, specializing in fuel cards and other forms of virtual payments.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is involved in several ongoing volunteer efforts, including work as a business mentor for the Prison Entrepreneurship Program and drilling with Living Water International in El Salvador.
Jan Bellah – SVP, Operations, CAEF
As a factoring executive with more than 25 years of experience, Jan is Triumph Business Capital’s longest tenured executive.
Jan oversees Triumph Business Capital’s portfolio operations, including the majority of client-facing team members.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UT Dallas. She is also an IFA Certified Account Executive (CAEF). Her extensive education and background as a thought leader in the industry have led to multiple speaking engagements at IFA Conferences and her position as a Finance Forum board member.
Danielle Reboli – VP, Operations for General Factoring
Danielle joined Triumph Business Capital in 2018 with 20-plus years of experience in commercial finance and international trade finance, specializing in accounts receivable, purchase order and asset-based lending. In addition to working with small business owners everyday, she is active as a speaker and presenter for non-profit groups that work with small businesses and entrepreneurs.
